About the Artist

The Project

A group of art practitioners working The John Dewey Specialist College have launched a new project designed to support the production, showcasing and sale of artworks created by young adults with learning difficulties. ‘About the Artist’ seeks to create opportunities for our young talent to:

· Learn and develop a range of art skills

· Showcase artworks online and through exhibitions and art sales

· Gain experience in selling their work in a professional retail environment

Partnership

We are very proud to work in partnership with Philanthropy CIC, based in Palmers Green.

We are also delighted to share a range of student artworks below, all of which have been created by our young artists, and all of which are for sale. Print prices start at £35, but if you wish to support us further please do!

All proceeds will fund future projects and opportunities for our young artists.
