Our overall mission as a provider of education and training for people with learning difficulties is to empower people to lead fuller, happier, more independent lives.  We aim to achieve this by providing opportunities for people with more complex and profound learning and physical disabilities to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to become successful adults.

A key part of our work is redfining the social view of 'successful'.  We live in a society where success is generally measured through material wealth in the form of being 'seen' to have those items or qualities currently valued in a fast-moving and ever-changing social world.  This leaves little time to appreciate others for their intrinsic worth.  We want to promote a world that recognises the intrinsic values of social interaction, cooperation, collaboration and the powerful rewards that come from making genuine connections with others.
